We are organizing ground transportation for shuttling groups to and from major event sites with transport to the Theater for the Friday night event our area of concentration. Cintamani is currently employed by a local chauffeured transportation company and as we further discern transportation needs she will be able to secure all necessary vehicles whether chartered or rented. TO TAKE THE BUS FROM LAX TO THE TEMPLE or Culver Hotel – during the hours of 6am-10:30pm daily:
You can take the free airport shuttle outside of the LAX terminal to the LAX City Bus TRANSIT CENTER:
Look for the blue shuttle bus sign on the outside curb outside of your airline terminal: LAX shuttle bus C to the bus transit center leaves every 10-20 minutes. Once arriving at the City Bus Transit Center, walk to Bay 10 Culver City Bus. Get on the (green colored) Culver City Bus Line 6 UCLA via Sepulveda Blvd/ Northbound. Fare is $.75 plus $.25 for an inter-agency transfer, $1.00 total fare, exact change or $1 bill required. Make sure they give you the inter-agency transfer. You will pass Culver Blvd and Washington Blvd getting off at Venice Blvd. Here you will walk directly around the corner to the right and get on the Metro Bus #33 or #333. Give the driver your transfer. You will pass Overland and Motor Ave…getting off a couple blocks later at Bagley Ave/Main St.
For the temple: Across the street at the opposite corner you will see PIP Printing and India Sweets and Spices. Cross Venice at Bagley, passing IS&S and walk two short blocks back to Watseka Ave. You will see the sign for the temple (next to the Masonic Lodge), proceed a little up Watseka and you will find yourself in front of the temple.
For the Culver Hotel: Proceed one short block down Main Street and you will see the triangular shaped Culver Hotel.
Total travel time aprox 90 minutes.
