About Kulimela

What is Kulimela?
Kulimela 2006 was 5 days of workshops, seminars, feasting, dancing, music, games, and theatre. Together we developed this project into a true representation of who we are and where we are heading. In the end Kulimela really became what we as a community chose to make of it.

We focused the seminar conferences on 4 areas:

New events
Radhadesh is about expanding the sphere of the Kuli community, both within Europe and across the globe.

Objective
Kulimela’s aim is to inspire the 2nd generation from around the world to pursue and achieve their aspirations in both the spiritual and material context with an event to showcase talent, initiative, and success and facilitate personal development and networking.

Inspiration
Being the second generation of this new Krsna Conscious society we are faced with a set of challenges that are up to us to define and resolve. Our upbringing challenges our integration of the material world with our spiritual inheritance. This poses two fundamental questions to many of us: what need and motivation is there for material success? And secondly do we want, and why would we want, a spiritual life? Even upon answering these questions, we are then presented with the further challenge of how to realize those goals. Kulimela is an opportunity to step up to this challenge and explore who we are as a community and where we are headed.
